The Gondwana Game Reserve Which Will Be home to the Big Five.
It’s located about a 4-hour drive east of Cape Town near Mossel Bay, along South Africa’s Garden Route.
The playground would be currently the only Big Five Fynbos reserve on the planet — a 1,000-hectare terrain of scrubland that is floral. David’s guide Brian describes:
“Here You’ll see That the Big 5 Such as the Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino, and the Lion.
It’s also home to the endangered Cape Mountain Zebra. Right now , it would be very difficult to see the elephants as it’s cold and they seek shelter in the Mountains. Nevertheless, they come outside, when it’s warm and people can see them.
There are cheetahs here, that can also be endangered. They’re rather tough to spot. The Fynbos plant supports many of the grazing animals here as well.”
We hope this short movie on the Gondwana Game Reserve will get you excited to come and see the animals here!
Production by Carlos de Varona from Chromahouse.
